Jerry Alderman is co-founder and CEO of Valkre. Valkre is a leading provider of Strategic Account Management software. The company provides SAM software to a rapidly growing list of who’s who corporations. Jerry authored the bestselling book, “Winning with Customers” which to this day continues as a North Star for his work.
Jerry received his MBA from the University of Chicago. He has degrees in Nuclear and Civil Engineering. Jerry was recruited by Admiral Rickover and served as a Naval Officer on Nuclear Submarines for six years. He was raised on a ranch in Montana where is family has been for 7 generations.
Why I Wrote This Book
When I started the Edwards History project it was with little more than a few stories I had heard as a kid growing up on the Edwards ranch. My mom, Lousie (Edwards) Alderman, told a story of spending the first days after her birth in a Sheep Wagon at the LO Ranch where Grandpa Dale Edwards was herding sheep. After my father, Gerald, died in 2021 I spent a few months with Mom at the ranch. We talked in the evenings, and I would ask her about the LO. She knew just enough to pique my curiosity. And so, the project of researching the Edwards family history began.
